Exploring College General Student Application Spring 2021
Thank you for your interest in the Exploring College Program for Spring 2021! Our program will be entirely virtual this school year, but we hope to meet in person next year or as soon as it is safe again! Please fill out this interest form to tell us a bit more about you and why you want to participate in our program. Read below for more information on our program and our offerings.

In our program, scholars will be matched with current Vassar student mentors and have the opportunity to engage in a variety of pre-college activities designed to help students succeed in high school, learn beyond the materials taught in school, and prepare for college. We invite students from all grades and levels of academic achievement to join us, including students who are not sure what they hope to do after high school. We work to create programming based on the interests and needs of our students.

All programming will be conducted online using Zoom. The current schedule is as follows:
Wednesdays 3:30pm-5:00pm - College readiness workshops
Thursdays 7:30pm-8:30pm - Homework session
Fridays 3:30pm-5:00pm - Community Building workshops

This is also subject to change based on the interest and availability of our students.

In addition to our regular programming, we also provide access to individual tutoring with Vassar mentors according to your schedule/interests. Though we meet regularly three days per week, students are not required to attend all three days. We understand that high schoolers are busy and have many extracurricular commitments, so we would like our program to be accessible at whatever level our students desire. You can indicate your interest and availability in this form under the Student Interest section.

We accept applications on a rolling basis and will contact you once we review yours. In order to formally join our program, you will virtually meet with our Program Manager, Alexandra Hatch, to talk more in depth about the program and then will need to fill out our official student and parent forms.
