Welcome to JJ Legacy's Summer Program - Sankofa In Me!

This Summer's Theme is based off of the value of Sankofa, looking to the past to guide our future. Our ancestor Gordon Parks, who chose to use his camera as his choice of weapon to heal his community is the inspiration for this years Summer Program. Scholars will be encouraged to lean into their gifts and talents and interests to live out their purpose and focus on their choice of weapons' to heal their community!

We are excited to offer a summer program at JJ Legacy. Students will have opportunity to learn new things and strengthen current academic skills as well as engage in Enrichment Activities. Some of the enrichments we are planning include, art, drumming, dance, photography, swimming, gardening, quilting, music, swimming, chess, physical fitness and MORE!!!

This is a 4 week program from June 28th - July 23rd, with scholars & staff off on July 2nd. The program will run Monday - Friday  9am - 2pm. Transportation and meals will be provided.

CURRENT 6TH GRADERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND!

Our community FINALE Presentation will be on July 23rd!
