Thank you for your RSVP. We are using THIS form to gather all the needed info for best coordination.
You MUST fill out the Name, Email and Zip Code part. AND you must mark down about carpool. Well . . . AND you of course need to choose the event too!! The other answers are not mandatory.
IF you do NOT give us a name and email, we can not have you on our entry list.
Looking at the list you will see we do lots of Artsy/Fun events. On the sheet below, you can click multiple events. This will save you time of hunting down the meetup page later.
Oh yes . . . when you do fill out this form . . . don't expect you will be getting an email instantly back with all the event info. We don't use BOTs and we are not shackled to the computer, waiting for your entry so we can send out stuff immediately.
The way it works is the the form collects the info just like the event collects RSVP's.
Closer to the event date, usually a week to 2 days before, you will start to get info on the email. If you don't have any by the day before the event, chances are our emails ended up in your spam. Before calling or publicly commenting on the Meetup event, check your spam or junk mail folders.
As to why we wait to get closer to the event to send info. . . Because experience proves, if too early, people misplace the email and there is last minute panic because they can't find the info! We end up resending emails twice or more.
Carpool: IF you checked that you want to carpool, closer to the event . . . you will be emailed a link to the answers so you can find a carpool buddy.
