The SCI Teen VEAP (Vaccine Equity Access Project) is SCI’s effort to increase teen COVID-19 vaccination rates, with a focus on populations that have been most hard hit by the pandemic and that have lower vaccination rates.
We are looking for groups of teens that would like to develop an awareness campaign to encourage more of their peers to get vaccinated; with a priority on population groups with low vaccination rates. Interested groups should start by completing this form as soon as possible! Group applications will be reviewed as they are received. The initial application deadline has passed, but we are still interested in hearing from more groups so please apply if you are interested!
We also have ways individual teens interested in helping can get involved with Teen VEAP. Visit this form for more info and to sign up:
https://forms.gle/Gx127SL7exzCHjFo8If your application looks encouraging, you will be matched with a coach to help you further develop your project. After 3 to 4 weeks of working on your project, groups will present their plans to a panel of judges. Successful presentations will be awarded up to $1,000 to implement their ideas!
