AIBS Congressional Visits Day Grant Application 2020

SSE will fund a limited number of SSE members to attend the AIBS Congressional Visits Day on April 20-22, 2020 in Washington, DC. On April 20-21, individuals will participate in the Communications Bootcamp for Scientists, a science communication and advocacy training program that provides the information required to effectively advocate for their science. On April 22, the attendees will participate in congressional meetings organized by AIBS with their elected officials.

Scientists and graduate students who are interested in communicating the importance of federal investments in scientific research and education to lawmakers are encouraged to participate in this important event.
