There are four Homecoming Competitions that teams need to register for; Paddle Battle, 3 on 3 Basketball, Say What? Karaoke, and Field Day Block Party. The competitions are described below.


Paddle Battle: October 7th at 8pm in Gabel Natatorium
Paddle Battle is an annual homecoming tradition that requires teams of three to get into an inflatable boat that is tied to another boat and paddle backwards. Both teams will paddle backwards in order to move the boats to their side of the pool. Simply put, Paddle Battle is tug of war in the water. This competition is won by climbing the bracket to the top.

3 on 3 Basketball: October 8th at 8pm in the Student Rec Center
3 on 3 is an annual homecoming tradition that requires two teams of three to play a friendly game of basketball.  The team that gets to 21 points first gets to move up the bracket. This competition is won by climbing the bracket to the top.

Say What? Karaoke: October 9th at 7pm in the Bernhard Center - Center Stage
Say What? Karaoke will consist of 3 rounds. During the first round, your team will perform a song of your choice. The judges will then score the performance on a scale of 1-10. The 4 teams with the highest score will move to the second round. During the second round, your team will spin the Wheel of Fate to see what song your team will be performing.    The 2 teams with the highest score in round 2 will move on to the final round.  During the final round, your team will spin the Wheel of Fate again to see what song they will be performing. The team with the highest score will win the second annual WMU Say What? Karaoke competition!

Field Day Block Party: October 10th at 4pm in Miller Plaza
This year's Block Party will be filled with different field day competitions for you and your team to participate in!  There will be obstacle courses, races, tug of war, and more!  With every competition your team wins, you get points. The team that earns the most points by the end of the event will win!
