Expressive Art Support Group
Emily Natale (she/her), a licensed mental health clinician (LMHC) and registered art therapist (ATR), is offering a weekly support group for adults who are seeking to further develop and nurture their own artistic practices.

It can be difficult for many to dedicate time to creating. Sometimes distractions, an inner critic or self-limiting beliefs may block us from the gift of creating. If you are ready to invest in dedicated time/space with other individuals who value the creative process, then this group might be for you! It's designed as an "open studio" - meaning Emily does not give art therapy prompts, but rather encourages individuals to go within and create from the inside out.

One does not need to have artistic "skill" or "talent." Skill is often developed over time, creativity is inherent. Emily is available to you if needing support in understanding the basics of any material and/or general technical support. If needed, other group members may offer emotional support and/or problem solving while you engage in your creative process.

Group will start with a brief mindfulness warm up to encourage present-oriented awareness and centering. The group will allow for 40 minutes of active time to create. Followed by sharing with the group and options for feedback.
