The Green Lodging designation must be renewed annually and to continue as a Galena Country Green Lodging Designee, please complete all questions in this application.

Your completion, submission, and approval of this Renewal Application will ensure your recognition as a Green Lodging Designee with:
• an icon by your listing on VisitGalena.org for achieving the Green Lodging designation.
• a logo you can display on your website, social media and email correspondence
• a window appliqué to be displayed at your property.

To renew your Galena Country Green Lodging Designation, PLEASE COMPLETE ALL QUESTIONS. The questions allow you to track your progress from year to year and allow us to support your progress and track the impact made by the Green Designation initiative.

The Galena Area Green Designation Committee will review applications on a monthly basis and might ask for a site visit to view your green practices.

The Green Designation initiative was developed by the Galena Country Green Designation Committee, a committee of tourism, government and professional representatives. It was based on criteria from the City of Galena’s My Green Galena Pledge and TripAdvisor GreenLeader programs.
