BBAY Youth Engagement Initiatives Interest Form
The Brooklyn Bridge Alliance for Youth (BBAY) is committed to expanding youth engagement in leadership opportunities to support individual growth and to vitalize the work of our communities. The BBAY is offering a new initiative, Youth OnBoard, that focuses on developing and nurturing youths’ skills to be at the forefront of community decision-making to combat inequities present in the systems that serve our young people.

Youth OnBoard (YOB) connects emerging leaders (14-24) to decision-making tables across the Brooklyns such as boards, commissions, committees, and advisories. This initiative prepares youth in the following ways:
-   Trainings that include public-speaking, facilitation, consensus-building, power-mapping, and others
-   Networking with youth and adult professionals
-   College and career readiness
