Thank you for your interest in the Walnut High School Color Guard Program!
In light of our current school situation, we will not be holding color guard clinics and auditions this year. Anyone who is interested in being on our color guard team for the 2020-2021 school year is welcome to sign up on this google form and enroll in the class at your GLC appointment, regardless of former color guard/dance experience. Additional information will be sent to the students who are interested about practicing at home!
Before you fill out the form, please read the information below with an overview of the program, commitment involved in joining the color guard, and the parent letter.

Dear Color Guard Candidates and Parents,
Thank you for your interest in the Walnut High School Color Guard Program! We are excited to meet and work with the future members of the Walnut High School Color Guard.
The honor of being selected as a Color Guard member results in a year-long commitment. Family support is required to enable each member to meet their obligation, and thus medical appointments and family events must be scheduled carefully to avoid any conflicts – missing a performance effects the entire team and may result in that member being replaced for the next competition.
Donations: Any donations to the color guard program are greatly appreciated! If you are not able to make a full donation at once, but would like to help in installments, the following donation schedule will help us greatly in our planning. Please make checks payable to WHS Color Guard. A reminder that every student participates in every aspect of the Walnut High Color Guard program regardless of their ability to donate money or raise funds. Although donations are voluntary, if we do not raise these minimum amounts, we will not be able to participate in the activities and competitions.
