Beta Club Returning Members Application
National Beta Club is the largest independent, non-profit, educational youth organization in America. And for more than 80 years, it has prepared today's students to be tomorrow's leaders. Beta Club aims to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among elementary and secondary school students.

As a Beta Club member you should believe that exemplary student effort and achievement should be encouraged and rewarded, and seek to cultivate the ideals of service and leadership in our citizens of tomorrow. The governing body of the National Honorary Beta Club has instituted this organization for the promotion of these ideals and those stated in the Beta Creed, among elementary and secondary school students. To implement this purpose, the following articles have been adopted.
Beta Club Fees:
Returning members will be required to pay a fee of $10.00. These funds will be put into the WCHS Beta Club Account to be used for hosted events and purchasing graduation chords.
Meetings
The 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month (there may be more depending on our projects). We will meet at 2:20 p.m. in the Stairitorium.
Rules and regulations:
Beta Club members are held to high standards. Members are expected to maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. Out of school suspensions, arrests, and academic dishonesty will result in removal from the club. More than one sentence to ISS will also result in removal from the club. Members are also required to attend ninety percent of the meetings and events hosted by the club. The Beta induction ceremony is mandatory for all members. Three unexcused absences will result in removal from the club. One may be excused by turning a signed note in from a parent/doctor/coach/ teacher with an acceptable reason for missing.
