PEARL HAVEN ZERO-TOLERANCE, CONFIDENTIALITY, AND NO PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Pearl Haven is committed to maintaining a ZERO-TOLERANCE policy against sexual abuse and sexual harassment, in alignment with our Safe Environment Standards and the principles set forth in the Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA). This policy is fundamental to our mission of providing a safe, humane, and secure environment free from the threat of sexual abuse and sexual harassment for all students, employees, volunteers, contractors, and intern workers.

In addition to our zero-tolerance policy, you are required to uphold the strictest confidentiality regarding all information pertaining to Pearl Haven students, their treatments, personal circumstances, and any operational details of the facility. Breaching this confidentiality not only violates trust but also Pearl Haven policies and could result in legal consequences.

Furthermore, Pearl Haven enforces a strict NO PHOTOGRAPHY policy to protect the privacy and dignity of our students. Photographing any of the students, intentionally or unintentionally, including in situations where they may appear in the background, is strictly prohibited. This measure is crucial for safeguarding our students' privacy and maintaining the integrity of our environment.

By engaging with Pearl Haven, whether as an employee, volunteer, contractor, or intern, you agree to:

  1. Observe clear professional boundaries with students, refraining from the development of personal, unduly familiar, emotional, or sexual relationships.
  2. Recognize that any form of sexual contact or relationship between a student and any member of the staff or volunteers constitutes sexual abuse.
  3. Adhere to our confidentiality agreement, safeguarding all sensitive information related to students and Pearl Haven operations.
  4. Comply with the NO PHOTOGRAPHY policy to ensure the privacy and dignity of all students are respected and protected.

Your awareness and reporting of any incidents or breaches of these policies are essential. Signing below indicates your understanding, acceptance, and full agreement to abide by these policies, acknowledging that failure to comply will result in disciplinary action and could lead to legal implications.
