The ARDC recently offered a free 8-week online FAIR Data 101 course to help those seeking to develop their skills in enabling FAIR data in practice.

By the end of the course, participants will:

 - Be familiar with the concept of FAIR data and its application in research
 - Be able to articulate the benefits, barriers, challenges and opportunities in making data FAIR
 - Have hands-on experience with techniques, services and tools (particularly those offered by the ARDC) for making data FAIR
 - Be aware of and able to identify best-practice examples and benefits of FAIR data management

The course is offered at the beginner to intermediate level. It is aimed at individuals working with or expecting to work with research data, including researchers, publishers, librarians, research data stewards, research infrastructure providers and research support staff.
