Membership Requirements and Guidelines
Your membership in {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} demonstrates a willing heart to be active in the group. All members are required to plan or to assist with planning one field trip or activity day (science fair, world culture fair, holiday party, etc.). From experience, we know that the success of this group depends on the support and involvement of its members. Therefore, it is imperative we all have a part in making {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} run well!

Being a member of {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} is a combined privilege and responsibility. As a group that seeks to follow Jesus Christ, we are determined to keep biblical Christian behavior an attribute of the group. Accordingly, families who commit to join {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} must agree with our statement of faith.

{OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} is open to actively engaged homeschooling families, having at least one child in grades K-12th.  {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} will meet for Friday Fellowship Days from September until May each year. Should you change your mind or feel that we are not a good fit for your family, please let us know so another family can fulfill your place in the group.

Field trips, activity days, and Mom’s Nights Out (MNO) are optional and do not require your participation, however it is encouraged, of course.

It is not acceptable to drop your children off to the Friday Fellowship Days. If you cannot attend a Friday Fellowship Day due to an emergency, your children are welcome to attend only with the supervision of another responsible adult.

Our primary means of communication will be through our {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} Facebook Group. Feel free to post your questions to the group and tag {LEADER ONE} or {LEADER TWO} or send us a private message. Updates and news for the group are posted on Facebook. It is YOUR responsibility to know the happenings of the group.
Field Trip/Special Events Guidelines
All students choosing to participate in field trips/special events must be supervised by a parent or a guardian. Children are not to be dropped off.

Please consider age appropriateness and other requirements and suggestions on field trips/special events before signing up.

Arrive 15 minutes early to the specified location on the day of the scheduled field trip/special events so you can be at our designated area on time.

Parents are solely responsible for the behavior of their children and any children they bring. We ask that you speak with your family prior to events and discuss the need to be courteous of all tour guides, personnel, building and equipment. As a member of {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP}, you are committing to reflect a demeanor appropriate to represent Christ, {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} and the homeschool community.

Activities like rough-housing, climbing on/being disrespectful to property, biting, kicking, slapping, and/or pushing is not permitted; even in jest.

Sick Policy
Please refrain from attending {OUR HOMESCHOOL GROUP} events when you or your child is sick.  If one child is ill, we ask that your entire family stay home as well.
Statement of Faith
We believe in the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory.

The Salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ by faith apart from works, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.

The Resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
