The WFCC provides a remarkable inter-professional opportunity to extend medical, dental, and vision care to those most in need. We have found that healthcare providers and other professionals from diverse backgrounds find volunteering within our free medical programs to be profoundly enriching and rewarding.
By generously donating your time, you'll play a vital role in making a tangible difference in our community. Your efforts will help dismantle barriers to healthcare access for patients who are disproportionately impacted by social determinants of health, fostering a deeper professional understanding of healthcare disparities. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team of physicians, students, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical interpreters, and other dedicated volunteers. Together, we'll work towards a common goal, providing care that brings both satisfaction and personal fulfillment.
Key Program Details:- The WFCC free medical programs operate from 6-8 PM Monday-Thursday.
- While most volunteers form longitudinal relationships with one or more sites, we encourage individuals to volunteer when and where it is most convenient for them.
- Retired medical professionals are welcome and encouraged to volunteer! Our team will be happy to work with you to confirm insurance coverage.
