I am interested in the following open board position/s:

3rd Vice President of Communications- Promotes Council & GISD events and updates through social media accounts. Communicate all upcoming programs, projects and meetings of the Council and Local PTAs. Maintains and updates Council website with pertinent and timely information. Create fliers for Council Partnered events. Communications has a Committee to support and duties can be delegated

1st Vice President of Membership and fundraising- Assist the president. Support locals to gain memberships. Support Councils fundraiser by leading and creating a committee.

Reflections Art Program Coordinator- This job is for ART enthusiasts! Promote PTA Reflections Program and help local PTA chairs to navigate the program to be successful by providing leader training and and help to locals. You''ll recruit committee members to divide the tasks to share the load of any trainings. Additionally, you'll have "Reflection veterans" who can help you be very successful in this super fun position!

Legislative Chair- Identify policy issues of interest to your PTA membership and monitor through local and national media, school district policies, school board meetings, and PTA resources.

Budget & Finance - is the Fundraising Chair and supports the treasurer at trainings.

Parent Education- Support and help to create events that educate GISD parents. Though topics vary, mental health, internet and body safety education are often requested.

Helping out at home (Stapling, glueing, stuffing etc. jobs to be done at home)

Helping out at Events (Setting up, taking down or donating to an event)

Fundraising Committee (Help organize a community event for our district)

Communications Committee (create event fliers, post on social media etc)
