VBS Staff Application 2021
Apply to be part of the team for Vacation Bible School July 26-30 at First United Methodist Church, South Bend.

Requirements for applicants are as follows:
+ Were in 9th-12th grade in the 2020-2021 school year
+ Complete an in-person interview
+ Attend a half-day training at First United Methodist Church during the week of July 10.
+ Work at Day Camp every day July 25-29, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
+ If you are 18 or older, a background check will be run
+ You are also warmly invited to attend worship in Leeper Park at 10 AM on July 25 to be commissioned for the week

Pay for the week is $150, and all staff will receive pay on Friday, July 30 provided they have fulfilled all of the above requirements. You should be able to attend all of the above in order to apply.  

After receiving your application, Pastor Emily Trubey-Weller will reach out to schedule an interview with you. This isn’t meant to be intimidating, but is meant to give you good experience for when you go through the process of applying to future jobs.

VBS is open to all children age 4 through those having completed 5th grade. Each day includes time for play, art, bible study, a snack, and more. Please see separate registration form to register a child or a Junior Counselor (grades 6th through 8th grade).
