NDAHS is a charter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts and the National Dance Education Organization. Our prestigious extracurricular club is for anyone interested in anything related to dance. This includes all styles of dance, just dancing for fun, going to school dances, watching dance shows in person and/or on television, taking dance classes, watching dance performances, dance competitions, etc... Our main priority is to raise interest in the art of dance at MKHS!

By being part of this club you will be able to earn service points by volunteering at various dance events, take online dance classes, helping to raise funds to attend dance performances and special field trips, cheering for the MKHS Dance Company at their dance competitions, participating in a variety of dance performance opportunities while at MKHS, apply for performing arts scholarships, and more! But only "ACTIVE" members will receive an NDAHS pastel blue/white honor cord & certificate when they are inducted into the National Honor Society for Dance Arts at Senior Awards Night before graduation.

• Maintain a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA for four semesters during your entire academic career at MKHS.
• Miss no more than (2) club meetings per semester.
• Earn (5) service points each semester by participating in a variety of NDAHS club activities
• Perform in at least (2) MKHS dance department shows/events... one of which MUST be during 12th grade.
