StatLab provides easily accessible, high quality statistical consulting services to university graduate students, faculty, staff, administration and outside companies and organizations.

StatLab is part of the Statistics Program in the Department of Applied Economics and Statistics at the University of Delaware. The StatLab helps clients design experiments, analyze data and interpret results. We can also assist clients with the statistical components of grant proposals. (Return to webpage)

Abstract

Please provide a one-page abstract or summary of the project to brief the consultant on the nature of the problem. 

Use the following questions to help organize your abstract:

(1) Briefly describe the project
(2) What are your research objectives?
(3) Do you have specific hypotheses to test?
(4) What factors are important in the study design?
(5) How will the data be collected (or has been collected)?

In addition, if you have any graphs, plots or summary tables which would help the consultant to understand the research problem, please bring them to the initial consultation.

Service and Payment Options:
Services of the StatLab are free for the initial consultation and a follow-up session, which is no more than one hour long. Thereafter we will discuss compensation for services rendered.
