Access to Appellate Justice Program Pro Bono Counsel Application
For Appellate Cases in the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division 1

The Access to Appellate Justice program helps self-represented appellate parties search for an attorney to represent them at no charge.  Please fill out this form if you are interested in participating as a pro bono attorney in the program.  If you qualify, you will have access to a list of pro per appellate parties with fee waivers (or who meet other income requirements) who are seeking legal representation.  You are under no obligation to accept a case if you fill out this form or if you are placed on the panel.  If you accept a case, you must have a signed retainer agreement.  You may not charge attorney fees for the representation.

Note: if you do not meet the requirements to be a panel attorney, you may want to fill out this form instead: https://forms.gle/ixgK9th6S9FsqpwV9  On this form, attorneys and law students can indicate their willingness to assist panel attorneys with cases.
