Many of the animals that come to the Humane Society of Kawartha Lakes are not able to go up for adoption right away. In some cases, they are too young to be adopted, recovering from an injury or medical issue that needs to be addressed before they can be adopted.
This is why we need people like you to give these animals a soft place to land while they wait to find their forever homes!
Following application approval, our Foster Coordinator will contact you to have a brief interview. Please note that there are no "wrong" answers on this application - our purpose is to ensure that our animals are placed in the best homes to meet their specific needs.
