Hello!

My name is Solip Park, a doctoral student at Aalto University (Finland), studying immigrant/expatriate game developers (aka, "game expats") in Finland. Through this research, I want to gain deeper understand how game companies nurturing the multicultural workplace. 

You are: A person involved in HR, work culture, operation, learn and develop, or relocation & on-boarding in Finland. This includes work responsibilities includes, but not limited to: (a) helping/managing game work, or (b) brining or onboarding expats to Finland, or (c) helping expats from all around the world to work together in Finland, or (d) helping/support the development of your company workers or leaderships to build diverse and inclusive work culture.

The questions are going to be about:
- Your work routines (what do you do?)
- Your work/expertise (how do you work?)
- What makes your work exciting
- What challenges your work 
- Your thoughts about the current status of the Finnish game (or other technical) industry's talent import 

What we are asking for: One-to-one interview, roughly 45-60 min.
The interview will be conducted in English.

Your name and contact information will only be used during the interview process. Any identifiable information (e.g., your name, contact info, company name, age) will be anonymized and will NOT be shared with any other 3rd parties. But certain information will be available for statistical and research report purposes (e.g., your geographical location/country, gender, approximate age (ex: 20s, 30s, 40s), work title, years of work experience).

The interview will be voice and video recorded. Your responses will only be used for research purposes. Some parts of the interview may be anonymized and used in Solip's artistic project (web-comic) (link: https://www.instagram.com/solip.comic/)

This scientific research, a task in the public interest, will be conducted following the ethical principles of Finnish National Board of Research Integrity (TENK): https://tenk.fi/sites/default/files/2021-01/Ethical_review_in_human_sciences_2020.pdf (pdf). The data will be used confidentially, and individual respondents will not be identified from it in any way. Only the researcher will have access to the data, but IP-addresses will not be visible for them. Survey is stored in servers administered by Google Inc, and the servers might reside outside EU/ETA legislation area. After the interview is collected, the data will be anonymized and stored appropriately following Finnish and EU legislation. The data will be analyzed, and the results of analysis will be used in academic publications.
