MYS Handbook Acknowledgment and Participation Agreement
We acknowledge that we have reviewed the 2024-2025 Manhattan Youth Symphony Handbook and will follow the expectations outlined there within.  

We also acknowledge that:
  • Much time and dedication on the part of both the student and the parent/guardian is necessary to realize the goals of the Manhattan Youth Symphony. 
  • By becoming a member, the student will attend and be on time for all rehearsals and other activities unless there is a major conflict communicated early and my absence has been excused in advance by the director of my orchestra.
  • We understand that the student is expected to practice the MYS music thoroughly prior to rehearsals to bring the most to the group as whole. 
  • We understand that we will work collaboratively with others, respect the expectations of the program, and seek to make the MYS experience better by my participation in it.
