Rating The Emotional Connotation of 20 Fanfiction Tags
Thank you for choosing to participate in my survey. This survey should take around 5-10 minutes. Please answer each question as accurately as you are able to. Emails are not being collected during this study. Your identity will remain confidential. 

Directions: 
This survey is composed of a series of multiple choice questions that prompt you to select an emotional connotation with a specific tag from associated with fanfiction. For the purposes of this survey,  a positive or negative connotation means what type of fanfiction you tend to associate a certain tag with. A 1 on the scale means that you associate the tag with stories that make you experience negative feelings (sadness, anger, fear, guilt, etc.). A 3 on the scale would mean that you don't perceive the tag to be skewed towards making you feel either end of the emotional spectrum. A 5 on the scale means that you associate the tag with stories that make you experience positive feelings (happiness, contentment, amusement, hope, etc.).
