As an Official Charity of the Eversource Hartford Marathon, Half Marathon, Team 26.2 Relay, and Charity 5K you agree to:

1. Submit online application by April 17, 2020 (see below).
2. Submit IRS proof of your 501 (c) 3 status and a brief marketing plan outlining how you will use your status as an Eversource Hartford Marathon “Official Charity” to raise money for your cause and provide volunteers for the event.   Must be received at HMF by April 17, 2020. Forms can be scanned and emailed to registration@hartfordmarathon.com.
3. Provide required number of volunteers for the HMF Fitness Expo (October 8 & 9) or on Race Day (October 10). The amount of volunteers will be based on the three tiers as outlined in the program.
4. 50% of the required number of volunteers registered into the HMF Volunteer Database system by August 15, 2020 with the remaining 50% registered by September 15, 2020.  Understanding that these volunteers are for assignment by the race office for race operations.
5. Use all available resources to promote the Eversource Hartford Marathon and your association with the event.
6. Submit any press releases or promotional material concerning the Eversource Hartford Marathon to the race office for approval before releasing.
7. Complete the post-race survey and provide a report on total funds raised through the marathon by November 13, 2020.

At the discretion of race management, failure to complete any of the above commitments may jeopardize your charity’s status as an Official Charity for the Eversource Hartford Marathon and/or impact your charity’s future involvement with the program.
