The Friend of Education Award is designed to recognize individuals, groups, or companies outside of education who have made significant contributions to education at the local level. These contributions must benefit students in the South Central Region

Each CTA in the South Central Region may submit one nominee each school year. South Central Region will choose from among those nominated. The selected nominee(s) will receive a plaque and will be honored at the fall meeting.

When making a nomination you should submit:

Nomination Google Form
A nominating letter signed by CTA President and at least two (2) other CTA members sent electronically to southcentralmsta@gmail.com
This letter should include (500 words or less):
The relationship the nominee has to the local school
Specific contributions made by the nominee
The motivation for making the nomination
