Adopt-a-Tree is a program that rescues small and/or young trees from properties that are slated for development, no longer wanted by a homeowner, or left over from a community event.
Keep Smyrna Beautiful and the
City of Smyrna Tree Board work together to save the trees and provide them at no cost to community members. These trees and other native plants are available to "adopt" by residents, schools, parks, and other interested organizations.
Please indicate below which tree(s) you're interested in, and we'll do our best to match you with our available stock. Trees currently range in size from one to five feet. Tree matching will be on a first come, first served basis. Tree recipients are responsible for picking up and planting the tree themselves.
Planting and Caring for Your TreeBecause the trees in this program are both very young and often “rescues,” we can’t guarantee their long-term viability. However, there are many online resources that can help improve your chances of success.
Please note: It may take a week or more for us to respond after you've filled out this form. Thank you in advance for your patience.
