Ending violence against women: protecting gains in times of emergency
On 23 November, we will host a webinar discussing this question and introducing the responses of two Global South states in preventing violence against women during the pandemic. The numbers are alarming. In the past 12 months, 243 million women and girls have been subjected to sexual or physical violence by their intimate partner. This number is likely to increase as we have entered the second wave of the pandemic, and many states are issuing new lockdowns. Join us on 23 November and engage with us in this crucial discussion!
