Join Queer Intersections Oxford on Tuesday 3 May 2020 at 12pm for our next Research Lunch, which will be taking place in the Seminar Room on the third floor of the Radcliffe Humanities building.

The QIO Research Lunches allow scholars to share their work with peers in a warm, encouraging, and relaxed environment. Each Research Lunch will host two or three speakers. Each speaker will have 15 minutes to present their research. After all speakers have presented, there will be an open discussion. We will be hearing from three speakers:

Emily Harless (Manchester)
‘“Her mantle billows backwards into the future”: A Queer Strategy of Sacramental Anachrony in Robert Glück’s Margery Kempe’

Emelie Miller (Mid Sweden)
‘A conditional embrace – Swedish LGBTQ+ spaces through the eyes of ethnic minority non-heterosexuals’

Paige Allen (Oxford)
'Haunting Houses: The Queer Possibilities of Posthuman Spaces in Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House and Daisy Johnson’s “A Bruise the Size and Shape of a Door Handle”'

Sandwiches and snacks will be provided.
