Course Requests - 11th Grade
Not every student follows the same path through high school. That being said, below is a suggested 12th grade schedule. Each student needs 5 credits per school year at a minimum, which is a total of 10 semester classes. If a student is credit deficient, a student may be given more than 5 credits. To the best of your knowledge, please select the courses you would like to take. A school counselor will review your input and move forward with an appropriate schedule. Please feel free to leave any subject selections blank and a school counselor will choose for you.  Students will have two weeks at the start of the school year to make schedule changes.  See the GOVS Program of Studies for course descriptions and additional scheduling information.

A typical 11th grader may take:
1 Credit - English 11
1 Credit - Basic Algebra II,  Int Math III, or College Prep Algebra II
.5 Credit - Government or Citizenship
1 Credit - Upper Level Science (Ex. Chemistry, Environmental Science, Marine Biology, Forensic Science, Physics)
1.5 Credits- Electives
