REACH Counselor Supplement 2023
REACH is seeking motivated young men who are high school juniors and seniors to serve in its summer program as Counselors.  The summer program consists of two sessions. The first session is either 3 weeks overnight at the University of Scranton or 3 weeks by day at Regis High School (July 6– July 27). For all Counselors, the second session is a 3-week day session at Regis High School (July 31 – August 18; weekdays 8:30am-5:00pm)

Thank you for your interest in applying for this role! In addition to this online application supplement, you must also have a parent fill out and sign the Parental Consent Form, and email it to the REACH Scranton Co-Director, Mr. Hunt: phunt@regis.org. This form can be found in the REACH Counselor Job Announcement on the Regis website.

Finally, you must have a teacher or guidance counselor fill out the Counselor Recommendation Google Form, which can also be found on the REACH Counselor Job Announcement. In order to be considered, you must ensure that all three of these documents are submitted by 11:59pm on Friday, April 14. A full application will consist of the timely submission of all three. This means you should give your recommender at LEAST one week of advanced notice.

Final Deadline: Friday, April 14, 2023

This opportunity is only available for high school students in the Classes of 2022 or 2023 (current seniors and juniors).

Counselors must apply to work an entire 6-week session. We look forward to considering your application to work with the REACH Program, and we wish you the best of luck throughout this process. With any questions, please contact Mr. Hunt at the email listed above.

*COVID-19 Disclaimer
At the moment, we are planning to hire our summer staff in preparation for a REACH Summer at Scranton and Regis. Though a change is unlikely at this point, the availability of Fordham's campus is subject to change given the evolving circumstances of the pandemic. Regardless of Fordham's availability, we will still employ Counselors this summer. We are grateful for your flexibility, and we will keep you informed of updates as they arise.
