Position Description:

This application is for a second shooter contractor position with Katie Gallagher Photography located in Louisville, Kentucky for 2023. The chosen applicant will be required to sign a contract with KGP.

This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to expand their wedding photography portfolio and photography experience.

This is a paid position. Pay will vary depending on experience $40-50/hr

Modest attire, and positive attitude at all times are a must!
Must be willing to commit to 5-10 weekends.
Clear understanding of the KGP brand.
Full frame or Mirrorless DSLR. Nikon and Canon preferred.
Variety of professional lenses; prime lenses preferred
Must provide own transportation.
Must have existing photography portfolio; prior wedding photography experience preferred but not required.

Duties include but not limited to:
-Leading groomsmen portraits
-Second shoot various angles and or alternate moments throughout the day
- Assistant to the main shooter
-Calling out the shot list during family formals
- Carry bags/equipment when needed

This is NOT a main shooter position, but there will be moments when you have to be a leader and capture important moments.
