The Myles PTA is proud to sponsor its annual Veterans Day Celebration on Thursday, November 7th, 2019 in the gymnasium beginning at 1:45pm.

If there is a Veteran in your family that would like to attend the celebration, we would be honored to have him or her join us. We will also honor the memory of deceased veterans. If you are a veteran yourself, you can participate as well. We ask that our honored guests arrive at 1:30pm to be seated.

As is tradition, we will be joined by the New Hartford American Legion Post 1376 Color Guard and Commander Rand Kennedy, and hear many patriotic songs. Our hope is that students will leave the assembly with a better understanding of why they have the day off from school to honor our veterans.

The assembly will also mark the end of our Feed Our Vets Food Drive. Please consider donating some non-perishable food items in the container in the school lobby between now and November 7th.
