Dear Parents/Guardians of WRIS:
My name is Mrs. Manolakakis (Mrs. Mano) and I am the after school Choir and Drama Club Director. I would like to invite your child to join for the year. We call ourselves The Wood-Ridge Intermediate School Vocal Ensemble (After School Choir) and Drama Club. They are 2 separate clubs, but would like to encourage your child to join both since they are both encompassing the performing arts! Information for both clubs is provided below. Each club is a bi-weekly commitment for the whole school year September-June. They will not conflict. If your child does both clubs, they will meet with me weekly. Please note that all rehearsals and performance trips are mandatory, but subject to change due to the Pandemic and numbers/attendance. Requirements for Choir and/or Drama Club:
Both Choir and Drama alternate every Wednesday and some Mondays in the WRIS Gym from 2:50pm - 4pm.

Please see the updated schedule. Since we have over 60 students in the club, we are splitting rehearsals. Please see your grade and date. Most days are Wednesdays except if noted. All Rehearsals will take place in the WRIS Gym.

Student rehearsal in school - 8:15am - 9:15am
9:30am School Performance
1:30pm Parent Performance (FREE and OPEN SEATING)
Featuring: Concert Band, Vocal Ensemble and Soloists.
PLEASE help your child learn their music! I will post in Google Classroom
Concert Attire:
Girls: Dress or Blouse with Skirt with Dress shoes
Boys: Collared button down shirt with a Tie and Dress Pants and Dress Shoes.
Hair / Make-Up - Look nice! =o)
If they are also in band - Please wear band attire for concerts.
(You may wear an accessory when you sing for a pop of color.)
