1690 2nd Avenue, Manhattan - between 87th and 88th streets down the steps

Who: 
Intermediate to Advanced High School Cyclists 

Riders must be 14-17 years old 

Riders must have ridden a 20 mile ride at least once in the last year

Riders are expected to be able to shift on a flat effectively

Must have previous experience in established cycling program - or be able to demonstrate bike handling via video or in person before camp.

 
More Detail:
Bikes, helmets, snacks and hydration provided daily for those who need them.
We will also provide two camp t-shirts, two water bottles and bike shorts for those who need them. Lunch is provided.

For final signup, we will ask for a waiver signed by a parent, and confirmation of authorized pickup for campers or permission to be dismissed from the pickup and drop off location. We will call to speak to the parent or guardian and the student. 

You will hear back about acceptance within a few weeks of application. 

FEES:
 We believe in making cycling accessible to all riders. Riders of means pay a weekly fee to cover their food/equipment and the top-tier coaching. Riders-in-need should apply to the SCHOLARSHIP program to cover part or all of camp costs. 
Weekly camp cost is $700 per week per rider.

Ride Up Grades is a non profit dedicated to safe street and group road riding. To achieve this goal it is imperative that riders work as a team and respect the coaches, riders, pedestrians and others in the shared spaces. Riders who cannot function within the group will be pointed to the appropriate social support but will be immediately removed from camp.  *
