Pocket Gamer Connects Digital is back! Following the success of our recent digital conferences and pitches, we thought, why not do it all over again. Oh, and of course, that means that The Big Indie Pitch is back too.

For those not in the know, Pocket Gamer Connects Digital is a virtual conference for the games industry, from the makers of PG Connects! Networking is an essential part of the games business, but 2020 wasn’t quite what we expected. Big conferences like GDC were postponed, and folk were unable to travel quite as freely. So in our continuing mission to serve the games industry, we’ve come up with what we believe is an answer (at least temporarily) in the form of PG Connects Digital. Sitting alongside our live events (November 15th - 19th), sees the return of our completely digital event.

Taking place over Zoom, our unique speed dating format gives each developer 5 minutes (including Q&A) with each room of expert judges, meaning entrants will get real feedback from the event. The winners will also be covered across Steel Media's network of website (such as Pocket Gamer and PC Games Insider), making this a great chance to get your game up in lights.

The deadline to submit your game is midnight on Friday November 5th, 2021.

If you get the nod we’ll be in touch with all the details (including your TWO FREE passes to Pocket Gamer Connects Digital). Note: Non-shortlisted entries do qualify for a discounted PGC Digital ticket.

The basic criteria:

You can pitch games for Mobile and AR in the Mobile Pitch, or Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Mac and Linux in the PC+Console Pitch
You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that are out too
We allow studios with a max of 12 members to enter the Big Indie Pitch (this includes the staff of any partners you are working with)

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover costs associated with being a part of the event.
