For the past 56 years Bergen Volunteers, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has turned caring into meaningful action by engaging volunteers to improve lives and strengthen the community through our community programs, community engagement, and civic leadership.

Approximately 200,000 children in New Jersey are food insecure.

The Food Expo Jr. will support students on the free and reduced lunch program by ensuring they have proper nourishment during the summer months.

Event Date: Saturday, June 24, 2023

Event Time: 11am - 2PM

Location: 100 Paragon Drive, Montvale, NJ

Food vendors are invited to participate by reserving a spot and sharing their donated food samples and items. Other vendors donating items, such as school supplies, toys, games, books, and other child related items, are  invited to reserve tables as well.

Free tickets will be provided to the families of students on the free and reduced lunch program. Tickets will be available for purchase by families who are not part of the program. We are anticipating high attendee numbers, and will update vendors on registration numbers as we near the expo date.

There is no participation fee for vendors providing food samples and goods at the expo. All participating vendors will be:

· Listed in the expo guide

· Promoted on our website and social media

· Required to bring a table, unless using a food truck

· Required to donate samples and/or items to the attendees

· Required to sign a waiver

Vendor Waiver
Waiver and Release I hereby release and forever discharge and hold harmless Bergen Volunteers and its successors and assigns from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action, of whatever kind of nature, either in law or equity, which may hereafter arise from my participation with the Food Expo Jr. and/or any project, activity, or event sponsored, managed, arranged, or promoted by, or otherwise affiliated or associated with Bergen Volunteers. I understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges Bergen Volunteers from any liability or claim that I may have against Bergen Volunteers, with respect to any bodily or other injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from my participation. I also understand that Bergen Volunteers does not assume any responsibility or obligation to provide financial assistance or other assistance, including, but not limited to, medical, health, or disability insurance, in the event of injury, illness, death, or property damage. I expressly understand and agree that this Release is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law, and that this Release shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of this state, county, city and/or township. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision of this Release shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this Release.
