MATHCOUNTS is a nationwide middle school competition for 6-8th graders. This year the competition at the school and chapter levels will take place online and open to all Vista Verde middle school Hybrid and IVA students. We will be offering 3 different school rounds (Sprint and Target) to be taken online over a window of time. The first round will be offered 10/16/20-10/19/20. The second round will be offered 11/20/20-11/23/20. The third round will be offered 12/18/20-12/21/20. We encourage all participants interested in representing Vista Verde for the chapter competition to participate in all 3 rounds during these dates. The top 15 performers in the Vista Verde sponsored math competitions including Mathleague, Math Madness and Mathcounts, will be invited to participate in the chapter competition 2/5/21-2/6/21.

Please sign up below by 9/30/20 to reserve your spot for the school rounds. There are a limited number of spots. Please email VVmathclub@vistaverdepta.org if you can no longer participate after signing up so the spot can be opened up for another student. You are not allowed to participate in Vista Verde Mathcounts if you have taken any of this year's Mathcounts tests elsewhere.
