The Central Region Teachers Association would like to recognize the many outstanding associate members from the region. Anyone who has not received this award within the past three years, is now employed by a public school district in Central Region, and is currently an MSTA member is eligible to be nominated for this award. Individuals who will retire at the end of the school year are also eligible to be nominated for this year’s award.
The winner will be introduced during the Spring Banquet. The winner will receive a $200 cash award, and a $50 cash award will be given to the nominating CTA.
Each CTA may nominate only one associate member to represent their local district. Local CTAs should review applications submitted separately and select ONE grant application to be forwarded using the online form to the Central Region Board of Directors by

This application must be submitted online using this form by
March 1, 2025.
2.
The CTA President’s MSTA membership number must be included to verify the nomination.
3.
The following information must be submitted:
A.
A personal narrative of 400 words or less explaining why you choose to work in a public school setting.
B.
One (1) letter of recommendation from a principal, teacher, or other school personnel. The letter may not exceed one page in length.
4.
All submitted documents must be typewritten in a neat and professional manner.
