Terms & Agreement

 In order to occupy the space. to host an event through J.C. Movement, Inc.

1. I  understand that J.C. Movement, INC. is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization.
2. I understand that a $50 fee is required in order to register.
3. I understand that I will occupy the kitchen area for 3 hours with my designated times.
4. I understand that I am responsible for the cleanup and breakdown of hosting/space.
5. I understand that surveillance is at the location.
6. I understand that someone from the J.C. Movement Team may or may not be present during the desired time.
7. I understand that it must be 18+ years of age to host/space at the JCM location.
8. I understand that scheduling is subject to availability.
9. I understand I will not be able to sale any alcoholic beverages at this event.
10. I also understand that I must promote positive energy that aligns with the core values and beliefs of J.C. Movement, INC.
11. I understand failure follows any of the following I this contract can and will cancel the booking and any funds paid towards the booking.

There is available space to set up food or for clients to prep food in the kitchen.
The kitchen has a refrigerator with freezer and ice, microwave,
counter space, sinks for use. A stove with ovens.

Available: Sunday- Saturday 8:00 AM – 11:30 PM

Pricing:
Registration Fee: $50

Scheduling/Eligibility:
Requests for use of reservation will be made through the jcmovement.org website
 Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Scheduling is subject to availability.


 Upon approval by the manager, the client will receive an email
(jcm@jcmovement.org). confirming occupancy & copy of the contract.


Cancellations:
In the event of an emergency or weather closing, the entire fee will be applied toward the rescheduled date/time. The main request listed on the request form will be notified by J.C. Movement Team or staff.

It is the responsibility of the party to notify all attendees.

Fees are charged with a differential between for-profit and nonprofit users. J.C. Movement, INC. reserves the right to waive fees at their discretion, with approval by an authorized person.

In the event that an organization or individual cancels a reservation, the organizer will notify the correct J.C. Movement, INC. team member.

The applicant’s digital/electronic signature on this application indicates an agreement to comply with all J.C. Movement, INC.  policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Available Saturday for designated 3 hours

Time:
Kitchen Space will be reserved for 3 hours for the time frame slot. Vendors are welcome to sever food in Prepping Space and at the location until 10 pm. Vendors can also begin setting up at 10 am. When reserving your time slot, please take into consideration you are responsible for arriving on time and using the kitchen at the desired given time. This can be arranged for the week of your event. If during the event you choose to extend the time & the manager gives permission, the additional hourly rate will be collected during the event.



Parking:
There is a 4 car parking space in front of the home. Other cars should not park or block any other neighbors' homes. Cars will be towed immediately.

Guest should pack in on the street of 1170 Cheyenne Blvd. or in the Church parking lot and walk over.

Cars can park on connecting streets and walk to the home.


Publicity/Directions/General Use:
Publicity for a meeting must clearly identify the sponsoring group or individual. Publicity cannot state or imply that the J.C. Movement, Inc. is a sponsor or co-sponsor of an event without its express permission.

 J.C. Movement, INC.’s main phone number and website may be listed as a source for directions and general information about the home.

If the event is open to the public and qualifies as a community event, J.C. Movement, INC. will consider promoting it on their website and e-blast. To submit an event for consideration, email all event details to jcm@jcmovement.org

Persons attending the event are subject to J.C. Movement, INC. rules, and regulations. Failure to comply could result in removal from the property and refusal of future access.

Organizations and individuals using J.C. Movement, INC. space do so at their own risk. The organizer is responsible for the use of the space and for the actions of their guests.

Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended at any time.


Food Prep Area:
The caterer of choice is welcomed. The individuals may use a refrigerator, microwave, freezer to store ice, counter space, and sinks, and dishwasher.

Remember this is a shared space. You will be able to occupy your desired time frame.

 Cleanup is required at the end of the event time.


Users are financially liable for damage to the facilities. At J.C. Movement, INC. discretion, we reserve the right to reject any vendor with whom we have had a previous negative experience.


Clean Up/Trash Removal:
Organizations and individuals are responsible to dispose of their own trash in a trash can located outside of the home. Trash cans are to be left completely empty upon leaving.

The individual is responsible or asks the caterer to clean the food prep area and return all borrowed items to their proper place.
All wood floors should be swept and tables wiped down.

Damages:
The organization or individual reserving the space assumes all responsibility for damage to The J.C. Movement, Inc. property and for leaving the premises in the same condition in which it was found. Damage to the facility or equipment will be billed directly to the organization or individual responsible for the room as indicated by the application signature. Any damage
is to be reported immediately to a J.C. Movement, Inc Leader (Akeyia Claybrooks)  If there is any damage, breakage, theft, breach of the communicated time limit, or excessive clean up the client will be billed for the balance.

Disclaimers:
The J.C. Movement, INC. is not responsible for damage to or theft of equipment used or left, including damage to the software by computer viruses. J.C. Movement, INC.  will notify the organizer of any equipment left behind and will allow 15 days for its retrieval. At that time, the items will be disposed of at the discretion of J.C. Movement, INC.

J.C. Movement, INC. reserves the right to revoke the permission granted to organizations and individuals for use of space due to previous event rental and breach of the agreement.

Organizations that do not fulfill their obligations as enumerated in this policy may be denied future use. A list of these organizations will be maintained and referenced periodically or as deemed necessary.

J.C. Movement INC., its employees, and the Board of Directors shall not be liable to any group, organization, or person attending a meeting. Any group, organization, and person, jointly and severally, hereby agrees to, and shall indemnify and hold harmless J.C.Movement, INC, their employees, and the Board of Directors from any and all claims, suits, damages,
losses or injuries which they may sustain, or are alleged to have sustained, while using the meeting room, including, but not limited to, the use of a meeting room, kitchen facilities, restroom facilities, and means of egress and ingress to the facility and the meeting room.
