Summary: Start/Finish for BOTH 1 MILE AND 6.5 MILE RACES:  At light pole on street at immediate intersection of Glacier Highway and Auke Lake Boat Ramp parking lot.  Note for awareness and caution there may be parking lot work at times this week.  

1 mile: Proceed from EAST on paved walkway along Glacier Highway. Turnaround (should be cone and arrow) just before intersection with Calvary CT (just past the church). Return to the start to finish the 1 mile course.

6.5 mile: From START HEAD EAST on paved walkway along Glacier Highway.  Turn LEFT at intersection with Karl Reishus BLVD (at new Pederson Hill subdivision).  Follow the "S" curve along the road onto the gravel trail at the two YELLOW bollards. Follow gravel trail to its intersection with Brotherhood Bridge Trail just past the large log. Turn LEFT onto Brotherhood Bridge trail. Follow this trail to the end at River Rd. (Note: if you notice  Turn Around sign, on the trail, please ignore as this is for the Pavitt's race). BEAR  Right (not a real bear!) at end of Brotherhood Bridge (Kax) Trail to River Rd. Trailhead parking lot. Continue thru trailhead parking lot onto River Road.  Take LEFT at end of River Road (shown below) onto BACKLOOP Road. Continue on Backloop Rd (running against traffic) to top of Goat Hill and take SLIGHT LEFT onto Goat Hill Rd (at point where Backloop Rd curves to the right). Follow short loop on Goat Hill Road to Auke Lake Trailhead. Follow Auke Lake Trail to its end at Glacier Highway and head RIGHT to FINISH at light pole at parking lot intersection (approx. 300 yards ahead). Please note your time and submit your results.
