The recent election demonstrated that this country is very divided. But, if there's one thing that unites Colorado, it's an abiding love for the outdoors. About 9 in 10 Coloradans regularly participate in outdoor recreation and a bipartisan majority of Coloradans – nearly three quarters – support setting a national goal of protecting our wild lands and waters.

Increasing the share of protected areas in our state will take a collective effort from all Coloradans, who must work together with our leaders, neighbors, and fellow outdoor lovers! We can encourage bold leadership from our elected officials by asking them to support a science-based campaign to protect 30% of America’s lands and waters by 2030.

We have an opportunity to be a catalyst for change by setting a precedent for public lands protection within our country. Join us as we discuss the important role that local Colorado communities have on an international scale. We will be joined by the International Director of the 30 by 30 Campaign for Nature, Brian O’Donnell and together, we will set a course of action for Colorado.
