One of Love and Healing Work initiatives focuses on disaster recovery efforts for people of the global majority (replaces the term people of color) and communities systematically ostracized and oppressed (womayn, children, people able differently, people aging, people of the rainbow village) called Love and Healing Relief Project (LHRP). The LHRP aids in locating, connecting, managing, and facilitating the access to culturally proficient and trauma centered healing opportunities, information,  resources, services, and supplies.

We collaborateswith people and organizations within the heart of impacted communities, throughout the impacted state or country, or the nation to assist provide aid to those in need.  The LHRP works within a decolonized and anti-racist framework, taking assessments of the people who need supplies and providing solutions to prevent the negative impacts in which racism and colonialism can cause.  

Volunteers agree to assist collect donations, resources and supplies, and recruit other volunteers will be forwarded our working guidelines and are invited to agree that they are willing and able to assist in a culturally mindful manner. 

If you are associated with an organization that desires to provide resources and supplies are invited to select days and times conducive to  meeting regarding Restoration efforts.

Collaborators/Volunteers are asked to meet prior to beginning assisting those in need.  Volunteer shifts are usually four hours long, but we know that life still goes on.  We request if you will be volunteering in person that you  volunteer for at least 2 hours. This will help us make sure that volunteers take a get a break and don't burn out.  We ask that volunteers commit to at least two weeks for restoration efforts. If your schedule will only allow you to volunteer in person once then we invite you to assist us with our efforts virtually.

We are seeking to recruit people that are trained to assist people heal and advocate for themselves and others. Please select where you’re best suited to assist. 

During the post storm efforts there are many administrative needs that can be done virtually.  Please be mindful and aware of what your time and lifestyle will allow you to commit to.
