CCSC's Families in Transition program is hosting a Zero Waste Repair Workshop
In this Zero Waste Repair Workshop, you will get to:
- learn how to sew
- learn different techniques to mend clothes
- give new life to old fabrics and clothes by making items like plushies and pouches
- decorate your clothes through embroidery
For this event, some materials you will need are:
- sewing needle/embroidery needle
- sewing thread/embroidery thread
- clothes to mend
- fabric from old clothes
- optional: Poly-fil, embroidery hoop, buttons
If you do not have these materials, please email us at fit@sfccsc.org to schedule materials pick up from our office at 747 Commercial St.
