You may be aware that we offer a privilege for the most senior students in school which allows them to leave the school site at lunch time. This is only offered to students with excellent learning conduct. If your child has not met the Learning Conduct criteria, they will not be given their lunch pass and will instead remain on site during lunch time. The Y11 Team will provide them with opportunities to earn their lunch pass in the coming days.
For Safeguarding reasons, we must have consent from a parent or carer in order to do this so please complete this very short Google Form to provide this consent. If we do not receive a reply from you by
Friday 6th October we will assume that you do not wish to provide consent and your child will not be given their lunch pass.
Please also note that students must present their pass at the school gate for it to be scanned on a card reader in order to leave site each day. This means that if they forget or lose their pass, for Safeguarding reasons, they will not be allowed off site.
If they lose their pass, they will need to purchase a new one at a cost of £2. The initial card will be provided free of charge.
Students for whom we have received consent will be allowed off site starting on Monday 9th October. Please speak to your child to reinforce expectations of positive and safe behaviour whilst they are off site.
