Greetings!
We are excited to again host our 26th annual SADD 5k run/walk and Health Fair at the Oneonta High School on Sunday April 14th, 2024!
You are receiving this invite because of your involvement on our community and past support of the community Health Fair. The event typically attracts over 300 people each year. All proceeds raised from the run/walk go directly to area schools and SADD Clubs to support their efforts to keep students safe and promote a healthy lifestyle.
This year marks the 26th year for this worthwhile event. Each day our youth are faced with tough choices. More than ever we need to celebrate the ability of our community to build resilience, connections and support. The health fair offers a unique opportunity to bring information to residents of Otsego and Delaware counties about resources that support all aspects of wellness; physical, emotional and social. By offering information and activities to those who stop by, you will increase awareness about your agency or service and its role in helping everyone make safe and healthy choices.
In addition to distributing information, our students and families love interactive activities to participate in!
The Health Fair is scheduled to take place from 9:00-11:00am in the Oneonta High School Gym. The run/walk starts at 11:00am - please note these new times this year! If you need to leave earlier or arrive later that is fine! We ask that you arrive around 8:45 to set-up. We have student volunteers who will help with your set-up and can bring in any material you may have.
