I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own safety and well-being during the escape room session. I willingly and knowingly assume for myself, family members, and employees all risk of physical injury and emotional upset which may occur during the event and to hold Beat The Lock Productions, and landlord, its officers, employees, and peers harmless from any and all liability arising out of my participation, and that Beat The Lock Productions is not responsible for any personal items or belongings that may be lost or damaged during participation in Beat The Lock Production escape rooms. I further agree that Beat The Lock Productions, its members, owners, representatives or employees will not be held liable for any injuries sustained during a game. Because of the nature of the games, people with heart conditions, anxiety disorders, PTSD, light/sound sensitivity or pregnant women might choose to refrain from participating. I assume full responsibility for and risk of bodily injury, death or property damage due to negligence or non-negligence of Beat The Lock Productions, its, owners, employees, contractors in the Beat The Lock Production escape events. I acknowledge that my participation is solely at my own risk.

I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by infectious diseases (including, but not limited to, Rhinovirus, Influenza, and Coronavirus) at Beat The Lock Productions may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Beat The Lock Productions employees, other customers, and their families. I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to my child(ren) or myself (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I or my child(ren)may experience or incur in connection with my participation at Beat The Lock Productions escape rooms. On my behalf, and on behalf of my children, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless Beat The Lock Productions, its employee, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes, and Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of Beat The Lock Productions, its employee, agents, and representatives, whether an infection occurs before, during, or after participation in a Beat The Lock Productions escape room game.

I acknowledge that I have read this waiver and fully understand that it is a release of all liability and a waiver of any right that I may have to bring a legal action or assert a claim for injury or loss of any kind against releasees. If any attempt for such claim is made, I understand that I will be responsible for all defense costs incurred by releasees.

CHILDREN’S RELEASE: For all persons under eighteen (18) years of age a parent or legal guardian must sign the following acknowledgment. The undersigned parent and natural or legal guardian of a minor participant hereby acknowledges that he/she has executed the foregoing Release for and on behalf of the minor named herein and agree to bind myself, the minor, his/her executors, administrators , heirs, next of kin, successors, and assigns to the terms of the foregoing Release. I hereby authorize any licensed physician, emergency medical technician, hospital or other medical or health care facility to treat the minor named herein for the purpose of attempting to treat or relieve such injuries. I consent to the administration of all medical care. By signing this agreement I agree that I or the part of my responsible party lose my/our right to sue anyone involved with the Beat The Lock Production escape rooms.

RULES: You will have 60 minutes to find clues and solve puzzles to find the way out of the room. For safety reasons, the door will not be physically locked. At any point and for any reason during the game you can ask to leave the room. Nothing needs to be broken or forced open. Our games are about finesse not strength. Any object that is deliberately broken or removed from the room, will be charged to the group. Please follow all written and verbal instructions; they are for your safety, not to trick you. Do not touch the items with the Do not Touch symbol as they are not necessary to the activity. If we observe any potentially risky or unruly behavior, we will enter the room and stop the game. If you are removed from the attraction, there will be no refunds or re-admissions for any reason. We reserve the right to remove any patron at any time for any reason. Do not remove anything from the rooms and please leave keys in locks. The ceiling, flooring and wall coverings do not need to be removed. There is no need to move or lift any heavy objects. Personal belongings can be taken into the escape room for the duration of the game.

By completing this online waiver form, my online printed signature shall substitute for the same legal effect in lieu of an original signature on paper. Participation will be denied if the signature of any adult participant or parent are not signed at the time and place of the event.
