Mandarin families,
Our students have been invited to participate in the Grand Rapids Lunar New Year festival again this year. We have participated for 2 years prior to this, and we are excited to participate again!

This year we hope to do something more theatrical in nature (NOT singing). We are super excited about our skit, which can involve a lot of kids (or just a few kids), depending on their interest level ... Before we begin thinking about casting the skit or developing the costumes, we want to know who is interested!

The logistics:
Performance will be at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th. Students will need to be available (at a minimum from 4:00 pm until about 6:00 p.m. that day).
Rehearsals will likely be during school, but there may be some after school rehearsals needed as we approach the festival deadline.

We need a wide variety of age ranges, but speaking parts are limited. So, we are mostly talking about acting, costumes, etc. So if your kiddo is not a confident public speaker, don't discourage them from trying.  There are lots of fun ways to participate on stage.
