The Enrichment Resource Center at WSWHE BOCES is happy to announce this year's 42nd Annual Spelling Bee will return to an in person format and will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 7:00 pm at the WSWHE BOCES Conference Center on Ballard Road in Wilton, NY.

The Regional Spelling Bee is for students in grades 4-8. Students may enter the spelling bee provided they have not reached the age of 16 by June 1, 2022 and have not entered 9th grade. Students of all ages will compete using the same words.

The winner will receive an engraved plaque for their school to display for a year.  The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers of the spelling bee will receive a trophy, certificate and ribbon.  Those placing 4th - 6th will receive certificates and ribbons.  All participants will receive a t-shirt.

The deadline to enter is Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Late entrants will not be allowed to compete.
