Raider Application
Thank you for expressing interest in joining our raid team.

Please make sure you join our discord (discord.gg/s75rvkAUfY) when you apply so we can find you easily :) We will be in contact regarding your application as soon as possible - usually within 24hrs! You will be whispered by Jordcam (Trembles) or Baratus.

Our Goals
First and foremost it's important that you are applying for a guild that will meet your goals for the game to avoid any kind of burn out / disappointment or resentment towards the team. Our goal as a guild is to achieve Cutting Edge - Mythic Raid Progression on a tight, efficient schedule. We aim to recruit the best players available to us with the right attitude towards the game and other players.

We have previously chased this on a one-night schedule, often hitting the final boss in the dying weeks of a tier, robbing us of the time needed to progress. We did achieve it once on N'Zoth! And are very proud of that achievement. We moved to 2 nights as a more guaranteed way to grab the most prestigious PVE kills the game has to offer!

We are looking for players who can offer the following:
  • Staying completely up to date with power progression and gear grinds the game has to offer
  • Availability to push a high number of M+ in the first 2-3 weeks of a tier (15-20 dungeons)
  • Strong aptitude for mechanical play, and quick to grasp strategic changes
  • Those with strong knowledge of their class, but also where to trouble shoot inefficiencies
  • Ability to maintain and continually update a gearing list on an external website
RAID TIMES

• All raids run 7:50pm - 10:30pm QLD Time
•Raid Nights: Wednesday and Monday
•Casual Night on Thursdays (Optional and sporadic)
• First 10 mins is invites / summons, pulling by 8:00pm Sharp.

Note that during daylight savings (Oct - March roughly) this will be 8:50pm - 11:30pm for NSW and VIC raiders

  • Players who seek that thrill and mate-ship of killing a boss together
  • People who are happy to sacrifice for the groups benefit
  • Those who understand different people have different strengths and weaknesses

  • Players who will accept and follow a strategy explicitly, regardless of the wider accepted strategies
  • Understand we make the efficient safe plays, aiming for consistency in pulls
  • Strong Communicator (On comms and responding to discord notifications in a timely manner etc..)
  • Active part of the social and community aspect of being in a guild (We love pet pictures!)
  • General positive attitude towards the game, other people and respect for the same
Performance
  • Active effort in staying up to date with top performance play on your relevant class/spec
  • Strong ability to manage a UI, Addons and Weak Auras
  • Give and receive critical feedback without getting in a mood about it
  • Maintain as close to perfect attendance as possible (IRL shitstorms aside)
  • Maintain a loot list and update it frequently on external website (readycheck.io - VERY easy to do)
  • Ability to sim with advanced techniques and recognize "simbait" situations
  • Watch boss guides and youtube footage of bosses ahead of time, particularly of same spec VODS
